Group of disaster city volunteers

Volunteers Needed: February 23rd, 24th & 25th

Texas Task Force Operational Readiness Exercise

Volunteers are essential to help train in Disaster City®. We need you to help us make a difference in our training!

To participate you must:

  • Register for shift(s) online (see below)
  • Participants under 18 are encouraged to attend but parents MUST be present and sign a waiver. The minimum age to participate due to the nature of the exercises is 12 years of age.

All volunteers must register online. You will receive a confirmation email after completing the registration process. Volunteers who show up without registering will not be allowed to participate.

Please dress accordingly for the weather. At a minimum you will need long-sleeve shirts, pants, and closed-toed shoes. TEEX will provide additional PPE.

Contact Kevin Price (979-500-6898) with any questions or for help with registration.

Certificate of Appreciation

Every volunteer will receive a certificate for each attendance. The certificate signifies that you have donated your valuable time and energy in Disaster City® working to support training for Search and Rescue and other emergency responders. Additionally, Disaster City volunteer hours are accepted by many organizations that require their members to complete volunteer or service time.
